Delivering solutions that improves the work efficiency of the customers; it feels good!

Education: Master in Electrical Engineering at UGent finalised with a 1 year Erasmus exchange program at ENSERG (part of Institute Nationale Polytechnique de Grenoble). I completed my studies with a Master in General Management at the Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School. Experience: I started my career in 2005 as a consultant for Möbius. I executed several projects within the Business Process Management team for both public and private organizations. During these projects, I learned a lot about process analysis, process optimization, workload measurement and performance management. All projects were executed in close contact with the customer: work at the client site, workshops with stakeholders of all levels and organisation of trainings. All this resulted in a broad experience in efficient project execution and building sustained relationships with the customers. As different projects ran in parallel, I had to plan/balance the workload, and deal with short deadlines. Some Reference Projects: - Conception and implementation of a Balanced Scorecard for the FOD Personeel & Organisatie, FEDICT, FOD Budget & Beheerscontrole and Kanselarij - Supporting the MRCC (Maritime Rescue and Coordination Centre) in defining their procedures in line with international standards and development of the organisational structure of the MRCC and VTS-SM. - Design & Implementation of a Balanced Score Card system that meets the strategy of EANDIS - Coaching the Management Team of the City of Ostend in the evaluation of their current processes and the conception of a strategic plan. After 2 years I wanted to do something more tangible, more in the Engineering sector - back to my roots - , and I decided to join Barco as Project Manager. In this role I gained more experience in project management (in full, in time and in budget) and dealing with different cultures, as I’ve been doing projects in different continents (Europe, Africa, Asia). Some Reference Projects: Seinhuis Brugge (Belgium): Display wall installed to provide a 'live' overview of their region's rail traffic situation.
