Careerfit is a new recruitment company whose mission is to become a key player in the sector with its innovative and refreshing approach. At Careerfit, the individual is our point of departure. Our aim is to map out the 'professional identity' of each of our clients and to match his/her talents, core values, motivations and needs with the needs and requirements of the market. We set out to match the passion of talented individuals with the mission of companies. As a means of facilitating this, we have set up an online talent platform where talented people in Belgium can find information and inspiration that will help them in making career choices. That inspiration comes not only in the form of expert career advice, but also by having the opportunity to share experiences with others.
Our approach is focused on talent with a master degree background and with experience ranging form 0 to 10 years. Our partner companies include both large, established concerns as well as growth companies in Belgium who are keen to invest in talent management. What makes us different from other recruitment partners is our focus on the proactive matching of a (latent) talent pool with the needs of companies.
Careerfit as talent coach
In 2011 we launched a new online concept - www.careerfit.be - so that young master profiles can find inspiration in deciding on their first career moves. To help them we have self-assessment tools and facilities for sharing experiences with their peers, who are already working for Careerfit partner companies. This online platform was developed by The Reference (Emakina Group) and the self-assessment tools were developed in collaboration with the University of Ghent.
When attracting new talent, securing the right people is crucial to the employer's brand. At Careerfit we feel that young master profiles are the perfect 'ambassadors' in this respect. The ambassadors at our partner companies act as an inspiration to other young masters looking to choose the right career path by matching their personal values and promoting their employer brand via the website.
